Agreement to Terms. By accessing this website or visiting Aceand Charcoal at 12 Card Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of the website and the venue. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the website or attend the venue.
Changes to Terms. We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the website, and the last updated date will be displayed at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website or attendance at the venue after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Eligibility and Age Requirements
Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years old to access the poker areas and participate in tournaments. Valid identification may be required at any time. Minors may be allowed in dining areas when accompanied by a responsible adult and under direct supervision.
Legal Capacity. By using this website, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of an entity, you warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
Bookings and Reservations
Booking Process
Bookings can be made via the website, by phone at +61 2 8394 5120, or by email at [email protected]. All bookings are subject to availability. A confirmation will be provided by email or phone. Special requests are noted but are not guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee.
- No-shows may incur a charge at the venue's discretion.
- Tournament registrations are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the venue.
Payment Terms
Payment for dining and tournament buy-ins is processed on-site. All transactions are in Australian dollars. Poker chips have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. No monetary prizes are offered.
Poker Event Rules
Tournament Conduct
- Participants must follow venue rules and dealer instructions at all times.
- Cheating, collusion, or any form of unfair play is strictly prohibited.
- Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the venue without refund.
Buy-in and Chips
Tournaments require a buy-in for chips. Buy-in amounts are listed on the Tournament Schedule page. Chips have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. No cash prizes are awarded.
Eligibility for Tournaments
Only registered participants aged 18 or older may enter the tournament area. Registration may close before the scheduled start time. The venue reserves the right to refuse entry to any person.
