Freezeout

A classic format where you receive a set number of chips and play until you run out. No rebuys or add-ons. This is the purest test of skill and patience, often leading to longer, more deliberate sessions. If you enjoy reading opponents and managing a single stack from start to finish, freezeout is for you.

Rebuy

Allows players to purchase additional chips during a set period if they bust out. This adds flexibility and keeps the action flowing, especially in the early levels. Rebuy events are ideal for players who want a second chance or prefer a more dynamic, aggressive table. Buy-in details are always specified per event.

Turbo

A faster-paced tournament with shorter blind levels, perfect for a quick game. Blinds escalate rapidly, so decisions come quickly and stacks change fast. Turbo events suit players with limited time or those who enjoy high-energy, high-variance play. Expect more excitement per minute and a clear finish time.

Buy-In and Chips Guide

Each tournament has a buy-in expressed in chips and a venue credit that covers your seat and amenities. Chips are for tournament play only and have no cash value. The venue credit includes access to the card room and may include a drink or snack, depending on the event.

For example, a standard Friday night freezeout might offer 5,000 chips for a $50 venue credit. Higher buy-in events provide deeper starting stacks and longer blind levels, while turbo events use smaller stacks to keep the pace brisk. Always check the event card for the exact chip count and venue credit before reserving.
